United legend Rio Ferdinand, who played for 11 years under the Scottish coach at Old Trafford, did not appreciate Ratcliffe's decision. Since buying a 25 per cent stake at Old Trafford, the British billionaire has been proactive in taking multiple harsh calls to sort out the club's messy expenditure.
