VIDEO: Ouch! Neal Maupay shares hilarious footage of himself slipping in elevator after pool dip as Everton striker continues to moonlight as a comedian

On Thursday morning, Maupay shared a hilarious video on X that showed him stepping into his hotel's elevator following a relaxing time at the pool. However, as the Everton forward stepped into the elevator, he had an unfortunate slip due to his water-soaked hotel slippers. The incident occurred on Wednesday, August 7, per the timestamp on the CCTV footage shared by Maupay.

Maupay is possibly the biggest comedian in the Premier League currently as the Everton star is known to make fun of his opponents and even the Three Lions at times but does so in good spirits to try and get under the skin of his opposition to gain even a slight advantage. One such incident was his tussle with Tottenham Hotspur's James Maddison last season after the Frenchman copied the midfielder's famous darts celebration after scoring against Ange Postecoglou's side.

The 27-year-old appeared twice for Sean Dyche in Everton's three preseason friendlies and could be a starter for the Toffees in their Premier League opener against Brighton on August 17.
