Mathys Tel drops transfer bombshell! Bayern forward wants January exit with Chelsea among clubs interested in deal

As first reported by Fabrizio Romano, the 19-year-old has decided to leave Bayern before the winter transfer window shuts on February 3. He adds the Blues enquired about the French forward but multiple clubs are interested in signing him.

Tel made 41 appearances for Bayern last season, scoring 10 goals and bagging six assists along the way. This term, the teenager has just 13 appearances to his name and a meagre three of those have been starts under new manager Vincent Kompany. It seems an exit beckons but he won't go on the cheap.

Although the former Rennes ace, whose contract runs until 2029 at Bayern, racked up the appearances for the German giants last season, he still only made 10 starts in all competitions.

It remains to be seen if Tel - who is behind the likes of Harry Kane, Michael Olise, Leroy Sane, and Kingsley Coman in Bayern's attack - will secure an exit from the Bundesliga team over the coming days.
