Manchester United have reportedly reached a £71 million agreement to sign Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford after weeks of intense negotiations. The Cameroon international prioritised a move to Old Trafford over rival offers, and will now become United’s third signing of the summer in a transfer that could reshape their attack heading into the 2025-26 season.

WHAT HAPPENED?
Manchester United have struck a deal with Brentford for Mbeumo worth up to £71m ($95.5m), with an initial £65m ($87.4m) to be paid in instalments and £6m ($8m) in bonuses as per The Athletic. The report has suggested that the transfer is now being finalised, with Mbeumo having made it clear that he preferred United over all other interested clubs. He will follow Matheus Cunha and Diego Leon in making the move to Old Trafford this summer.
