    According to Sky Germany, the 26-year-old right-back, who has been deemed surplus to requirements by United manager Erik ten Hag, is set to leave Old Trafford after five seasons. He has already agreed to a verbal agreement with the Hammers and is expected to sign a contract that would keep him at the London Stadium until 2029.

    West Ham are now working with Manchester United to thrash out a transfer fee. They have allegedly offered around £10 million ($13m), while United are holding out for £18m ($23m). Nonetheless, there is a sense of optimism in the West Ham think tank as they believe that a deal could be reached just above the £10m mark.

    Wan-Bissaka joined Manchester United from Crystal Palace in the summer of 2019 for a significant fee of £50m ($64m). Over his five seasons at Old Trafford, he made 190 appearances, scored two goals, and provided 13 assists. He has featured for the Red Devils in their ongoing pre-season fixtures and could potentially play his last match in a United jersey against Liverpool on Saturday at Williams-Brice Stadium in South Carolina.
