  • WHAT HAPPENED?

Modric has become the Peter Pan of football, refusing to grow old and retire, like many of his team-mates, and is still going strong at 40 years old. The Croatia international has just signed for AC Milan on a free transfer after a hugely successful spell with Los Blancos.

  • WHAT MODRIC SAID

Taking to social media platform X, Modric simply wrote: "Age is just a number."
