    Messi mania has gripped the US ever since the World Cup winner joined Inter Miami last year, and the fanfare surrounding the Argentina star doesn't look set to slow down any time soon. As he arrived off the bus in Boston ahead of his side's upcoming MLS fixture against the Revs, he was greeted by legions of fans chanting 'Messi' and holding up shirts, to whom he gave a smile and a wave.

    Despite a few niggling injuries brought on by the club's globe-trotting exploits, Messi has consistently impressed in the stylish pink shirt of Inter Miami. The 36-year-old's record so far is remarkable, with 20 goals and assists recorded in just 23 matches.
