Levi Colwill hits back at Chelsea critics after scoring winner at Nottingham Forest to seal Champions League qualification

Colwill scored the only goal of the game at City Ground as Chelsea finished fourth in the Premier League, guaranteeing them Champions League football next season. And during a live post-match interview, the England international took aim at the Blues' detractors.

He said on Sky Sports: “Everyone has been talking a lot of s*** about us this season. We’re back where we should be."

Chelsea were Liverpool's closest Premier League title challengers towards the tail end of last year but a poor run of form saw them slide down the table. Questions were asked of the players and head coach Enzo Maresca but now that they have qualified for Europe's elite competition next term, and could win the Europa Conference League, this season could be a big success.

Chelsea will hope to add the Conference League to their Champions League and Europa League crowns from the past when they take on Real Betis next Wednesday as they seek to end the regular season on a high.
