GettyTHE BIGGER PICTURE
Relations between PSG and Mbappe have been fraught for some time, meaning mediation may be a difficult way forward. Mbappe could also refuse to mediate with his former club and take the matter to court instead. The France star's mother, Fayza Lamari, has already said the striker is preparing to file a lawsuit against his former club regarding his alleged unpaid wages.

The forward scored his first La Liga goals for his new club against Real Betis last time out and returns to action on Saturday against Real Sociedad.
