In an Instagram post, she wrote: "Yeah been a tough one but I found a solution. Some may not agree with it but I'd rather my children know it's not because of them. That it's the other person's issue. So that they don't think there's something wrong with them and grow to have a complex.
"I simply say, 'Daddy's at football working and remember he's had to go back to school to learn how to be a good daddy.' I then say 'He might learn one day but for now, that's where he is.' Obviously, he talks about him playing football etc but that's fine. Had a few 'Where is my daddy?' and 'I love my daddy' outbursts but I think it's also an age thing as other friends going through it."
