WHAT HAPPENED?
Per The Sun, Galatasaray are interested in a deal to sign Phillips, who is seen as expendable by City. He was loaned to West Ham last season but his spell at the club ended in disaster, as he made just three starts in the Premier League. There have been rumours of interest from Everton but Phillips is said to be open to continuing his career abroad.

Roma, RB Leipzig and RB Salzburg are all said to be interested in Phillips, and Galatasaray have now joined the queue. The club are preparing for the Champions League again this season and had targeted Scott McTominay, but saw a bid rejected.
