As part of CBS' Champions League final coverage, Richards appeared alongside the Hollywood actor on the 'Beckham and Friends' show. Following Paris Saint-Germain's 5-0 win over Inter, the former Manchester City player asked Cruise for some tips on how to play a sad character, in stark contrast to his usual upbeat personality. When reflecting on that exchange and the advice he was given, Richards quipped he could make it as an actor.
