- Liverpool up against Aston Villa in Premier League
- Salah breaks deadlock for visitors
- Sets new record with latest strike
WHAT HAPPENED?
Salah broke the deadlock at Villa Park after a poor pass from Andres Garcia gifted possession to Diogo Jota. The Portugal star then laid the ball off to Salah to fire home his 29th goal of the season in all competitions. Salah's strike also means he has set a new club record. The Egyptian King has now scored in 15 away league games in a single Premier League campaign, beating the previous record of 14 set by Luis Suarez in 2013-14.

DID YOU KNOW?
A flick through the record books suggests Salah's latest milestone may take some beating. His 15 away goals is the most by a Liverpool player in one season since Gordon Hodgson in 1930-31. Only one player, Jimmy Smith with 16 in 1929-30, has ever scored more for the Reds. However, Salah still has time left this season to beat that landmark and claim the record outright.
