  • Hailed as one of best-ever guests
  • Only topped by late Queen
  • WHAT HAPPENED?

The Bayern Munich striker stayed in the hotel following his transfer from Tottenham and finally checked out in late December to move into a new house of his own with his family. The hotel's general manager, Dominik Rainer, says he was the ideal guest, only to be bested by royalty.

    WHAT RAINER SAID

Revealing that the 30-year-old regularly ordered English bacon and baked beans for breakfast, Rainer told The Sun: "Harry Kane definitely belongs among our top five guests. Just behind the late Queen Elizabeth II. I can say with certainty that he was one of the most beloved long-stay guests that we have ever had."

  • THE BIGGER PICTURE

Kane's comfortable and luxurious hotel stay - at a reported rate of £3,500 per night - certainly helped make his start to life at Bayern Munich rather easy. The striker has already scored 21 goals in just 15 games in the Bundesliga as well as another four across six appearances in the Champions League.

    WHAT NEXT FOR KANE?

Kane and his family enjoyed a winter break on the beach over the Christmas period and the striker still has time off to enjoy before his team kick off 2024 with a Bundesliga match against Hoffenheim. The German champions are second in the league, four points behind leaders Bayer Leverkusen, though Kane and co have a game in hand.
