Harry Kane makes embarrassing mistake! Bayern Munich striker gets answer completely wrong on trip to fan club

The England captain, who has already become a fan favourite at Bayern Munich since joining the club in the summer, recently paid a visit to a fan club in Kirchweidach in Upper Bavaria. He made a glaring mistake while answering a fan question, which brought a mixture of outrage and laughter from the audience.

Kane was asked about his favourite animal to which he replied, "The lion is my favorite animal."

A moderator, then, had to intervene and explain to the player that the lion is the symbol of Bayern's local rivals TSV 1860 Munich. The former Tottenham star then quickly changed his answer and said, "Ah, okay. Just a dog."

The 30-year-old has enjoyed a rich vein of form ever since he moved to Germany from the Premier League. He has already broken several Bundesliga records and currently has 27 goals to his name in 26 matches across all competitions. He has also provided eight assists.

The star forward will be next seen in action for his club on Saturday against Borussia Monchengladbach in a Bundesliga clash. Thomas Tuchel's side are currently second in the league, two points behind leaders Bayer Leverkusen.
