Harry Kane admits 'pride' at personal Bayern Munich museum display as striker reveals he & his family 'feel very much at home' in Germany

    The English striker, whose summer 2023 move to the German champions was one of the biggest transfers in football, has seen his extraordinary achievements showcased in a special display at the FC Bayern Museum at the Allianz Arena. Among the accolades displayed is the 2023-24 Golden Shoe, awarded to the player with the most goals in Europe’s domestic leagues. Kane clinched this honour with 36 goals in just 32 league appearances. Visitors can also view the Bundesliga top=scorer trophy, which he earned after a stellar campaign.

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

    His feats extended beyond domestic football, with Kane also being the leading scorer in the 2023-24 Champions League, netting eight goals in 12 matches. He added further distinction by winning the top-scorer award at Euro 2024, contributing three goals in seven matches for England. Notably, the exhibit includes the prestigious Gerd Muller Trophy, celebrating his 52 goals across all competitions for Bayern Munich and the England national team.

    Complementing the trophies are artefacts from Kane’s unforgettable matches during the season. The jersey from Bayern’s 8-0 victory over Darmstadt, in which Kane scored a hat-trick including a stunning goal from his own half, is prominently displayed. Another standout is the match ball from Bayern’s 4-0 triumph over Borussia Dortmund, where Kane again scored a hat-trick. The display features the jersey and captain’s armband from England’s 3-1 win against Scotland in September 2023, a match where Kane found the back of the net. A heartfelt note Kane wrote as a child, expressing his dream of becoming a professional footballer, adds a personal touch.
