WHAT HAPPENED?
The Bavarian giants, eager to bolster their defensive midfield, have identified Palhinha as their top target, according to Florian Plettenberg. The Sky Sports journalist revealed that Bayern already have a "verbal agreement in principle" with the player and hence all essential contract details, which were initially negotiated last summer, remain valid.

Securing Palhinha would be a significant coup for Bayern, providing them with a robust and dynamic presence in the midfield. They have already started negotiating with Fulham and are willing to shell out between €40-45 million (£34-38 million) for the midfielder. The 28-year-old is likely to be offered a four-year contract which will be valid until 2028.
DID YOU KNOW?
Bayern are already preparing for a summer clearout and reportedly remain open to offers for up to six players. Among those who could be on the move is Joshua Kimmich, who has been linked with several Premier League giants, including Arsenal, Manchester City, and Liverpool. His departure would be significant, but it could pave the way for Palhinha's integration into the Bayern squad.
