    WHAT HAPPENED?

    PSG ended yet another season as the premier club in France having won Ligue 1 and also confirmed their second trophy of the season with a 2-1 win over Lyon in the Coupe de France final in what was Mbappe's final match with Les Parisiens with a move to Real Madrid imminent.

  • WHAT LUIS ENRIQUE SAID

    Speaking to the media, Luis Enrique told reporters: "How will we replace Mbappe? Four, five, six signings... Whatever we can do. Kylian's replacement will be the team, which with the fans we have and the ambition this club has to win everything we will try in the coming seasons and we will see if we are capable of achieving it.

    "It is a great challenge for any player who wants to come here. We want to make history." This club sooner or later will win that long-awaited Champions League. Years may pass, but it will win the Champions League in the future without a doubt."

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

    PSG have been linked with a host of players heading into the summer including the likes of Napoli duo Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Victor Osimhen among others. They will look to make at least one marquee signing heading into next season to try and challenge for their first Champions League title.
