FIFA bans Pumas and Atlas from making signings, and both clubs respond

The FIFA Disciplinary Committee placed Pumas and Atlas on their list of teams banned from signing, meaning neither team cannot register new players until the sanction is lifted. In response, the Universitarios and the Zorros have already taken a position.

"The Universidad Nacional Club reports that it was notified today by the FIFA Disciplinary Committee that it is unable to register its players.
