WHAT HAPPENED?
Crystal Palace have announced the signing of Eddie Nketiah in a £30 million move from Arsenal. The south London outfit made Nketiah the second signing of deadline day following Maxence Lacroix's move from Wolfsburg.

With opportunities scarce at Mikel Arteta's Arsenal, a move to Selhurst Park affords Nketiah the opportunity for regular first-team football. The striker had hoped to establish himself as the Gunners' starting striker, but he only started 10 games in the Premier League last season as Kai Havertz became Arteta's preferred choice.
WHAT NKETIAH SAID
"It's amazing to sign for Crystal Palace – I'm excited to get going. Every time I come back to South London, it always puts a smile on my face, so it’s good to be back home," Nketiah said.
