Eberechi Eze tops Man Utd's list of transfer targets as Red Devils plot four new signings for summer 2025

Erik ten Hag's side enjoyed a busy summer in 2024, bringing in Joshua Zirkee, Leny Yoro and Manuel Ugarte as well as Matthijs De Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui. However, the Red Devils are already thinking of more new players and want four key signings for next summer, according to the Manchester Evening News.

Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze is named as one United target after thrilling for the Eagles and forcing his way into the England set-up. Ten Hag's side also want to sign a defender and a midfielder in a bid to strengthen their squad further. The Red Devils are expected to maintain their interest in Everton's Jarrad Branthwaite as Victor Lindelof and Jonny Evans will leave and uncertainty remains over Harry Maguire's future at the club. The club also want a new central midfielder, with Christian Eriksen heading to the end of his contract, and Casemiro's stay in doubt due to a loss of form.

Manchester United also want to sign a new left-back after seeing Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia both struggle with injuries over the last year.

In the meantime, Ten Hag is under pressure to improve his team's form after an unimpressive start to the new campaign. United have suffered back-to-back defeats to Brighton and Liverpool and face a trip to Southampton after the international break.
