The forward's rich vein of form in 2023 has attracted interest from Chelsea, who are known to be long-time admirers of the Irish international, according to The Standard. The Seagulls, though, are unlikely to let yet another player join the Blues after their star midfielder Moises Caicedo headed to Stamford Bridge in the summer.
DID YOU KNOW?
The Blues remain determined to sign the Brighton star despite his reported £100million release clause as the player fits their wage structure. Unlike the club's other targets like Ivan Toney and Victor Osimhen who are set to demand a salary in the region of £200,000 per week, Ferguson would likely want half of that amount.
