Celebrity transfer battle! Tom Brady's Birmingham aiming to pip Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney's Wrexham to Premier League youngster

A celebrity transfer battle is reportedly on the cards, with Tom Brady and Birmingham looking to pip Ryan Reynolds and Wrexham to Marc Leonard.

WHAT HAPPENED?
The 22-year-old midfielder is currently on the books of Premier League outfit Brighton, but has taken in just two senior appearances for the Seagulls. The majority of his senior experience to date has been picked up across two loan spells at Northampton.

The former Scotland U21 international has impressed in Leagues One and Two for the Cobblers, bringing him to the attention of clubs competing at that level. Birmingham have tumbled into the third tier for 2024-25, while Wrexham are on the rise under Hollywood co-owners.

According to The Athletic, both clubs have their sights set on Leonard. He is said to have held talks with Birmingham, having already spoken with Wrexham and Oxford United. Some big decisions on his future now need to be made.
