Getty ImagesWHAT HAMANN SAID
"They're playing us all for fools," Hamann said to Sky Germany. "You can whistle a penalty, but you don't have to. That means if you whistle a penalty, it has to stand. Then it takes three and a half minutes until the decision is reversed. Then I ask myself: What are they doing for three and a half minutes? I don't understand that and I don't understand why the referee doesn't want to comment afterwards."
Getty ImagesWHAT NEXT FOR DORTMUND?
The second leg of the Champions League tie against Atletico Madrid now awaits next week, with Dortmund facing a 2-1 deficit after the first leg. After European action has concluded, they will host Bundesliga leaders Bayer Leverkusen next weekend. Dortmund will be without Karim Adeyemi for that clash, after he was sent off in the 55th minute against Monchendgladbach.
