Manchester City star Bernardo Silva has been revealed to be the slowest outfield player in the Premier League, with Casemiro not far behind.

WHAT HAPPENED?
The Portugal international was found to have the lowest top speed in the league, hitting 18.2mph, according to Opta. That makes him slower than Wolves' Craig Dawson, the second slowest at 18.3mph, and Arsenal midfielder Mikel Merino, who hit a top speed of 18.5mph. Manchester United midfielder Casemiro is the joint-fourth slowest alongside Tomas Soucek at 18.8mph.

Despite his lack of speed, the 30-year-old remains a key player for Pep Guardiola's City, making 40 appearances in all competitions. The reigning English champions have struggled for much of the season, falling to fifth in the Premier League and already eliminated from the Champions League. However, they could still end the season with a trophy after reaching the FA Cup semi-finals with a win against Bournemouth on Sunday.
