Bayern Munich reach agreement with Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson as Bundesliga champions target loan deal for Senegal forward

According to BILD's Christian Falk, Jackson has agreed personal terms to join Bayern this summer. The German giants will now initiate transfer talks with Chelsea as they eye a loan move for the Senegalese forward this summer.

It has been reported in the past that the Blues are likely to demand a transfer fee of £70 million ($94m) for Jackson, but their high valuation of the striker has created a major stumbling block in negotiations with several clubs in Europe, including Arsenal and Aston Villa.

Jackson has fallen down the pecking order at Chelsea this summer with the arrival of forwards like Joao Pedro and Liam Delap, prompting his decision to look for a move away from Enzo Maresca's side.

The Blues are still in the race to sign Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig this summer but the club need to offload some players from their existing roster to fund that move. It remains to be seen if the Premier League giants agree to let Jackson leave on loan to Bayern.
