Bayern Munich believe Liverpool will soften their stance on selling Luis Diaz this summer after spending close to £300 million ($402m) in the ongoing transfer window. The Reds are close to signing Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt, which could convince them to allow Diaz to exit Anfield. The Colombian winger is keen to leave the Reds and join the Bundesliga giants.

WHAT HAPPENED?
The Reds are on a spending spree in the summer transfer window as they have already welcomed five new players to their squad and Ekitike's imminent arrival makes the count six. After shelling out massive amounts on new signings, the Reds are expected to offload some of their existing players and according to Kicker journalist Frank Linkesch, Bayern are hoping that Liverpool will now soften their stance on selling Diaz.
