- Bayern keen but end pursuit for now
- Expected to reignite interest in summer
WHAT HAPPENED?
Nkunku's future has been in the spotlight in January due to a lack of game time at Stamford Bridge. The attacker has made just three Premier League starts for the Blues and has been linked with Bayern and Manchester United. The Bavarians giants have now decided not to move for Nkunku this winter but are expected to reignite their interest in the summer, according to Sport Bild's Christian Falk.

Chelsea have reportedly been willing to sell Nkunku this winter but had slapped a £65 million ($79m) price tag on the 27-year-old. The forward has become frustrated at his situation in west London after falling behind Nicolas Jackson in the pecking order and the majority of his outings have come off the bench. A winter move now looks unlikely but could materialise at the end of the season, particularly if he continues to play a bit-part role at Chelsea.
DID YOU KNOW?
Despite not being a regular starter, Nkunku has still scored 13 times in all competitions for Enzo Maresca's side this season.
