WHAT HAPPENED?
Disasi was a regular starter for the Blues following his arrival from Monaco in 2023, but he has fallen out of favour since Maresca's appointment in the summer. The 26-year-old has played only three times in the Premier League this season, with Maresca instead using him more frequently, and even giving him the captain's armband, in the Conference League.

The centre-back's struggles have sparked reports of a possible January transfer, with RMC Sport reporting this week that Juventus and an unnamed Bundesliga side are interested in him, but BBC Sport says he is happy at Stamford Bridge and does not want to leave just yet.
DID YOU KNOW?
With Benoit Badiashile and Wesley Fofana both out injured, Maresca will not tell the club to sell the Frenchman, the report adds, meaning he could be given another chance to impress in the Premier League in the coming weeks.
