- USA keeper Schulte on Arsenal's radar
GettyWHAT HAPPENED?
Ramsdale has been linked with an Emirates exit after seeing David Raya take his spot as the club's first-choice keeper, after joining on a season-long loan from Brentford. With the England international short on game time, the 25-year-old could be off to pastures new next season, therefore, The Telegraph claim USMNT and Columbus Crew stopper Schulte is on the north London outfit's radar.
THE BIGGER PICTURE
Ramsdale joined Mikel Arteta's side in 2021 for an initial £24 million ($30.7m) and went onto become an important player at the club. However, with Raya, who is joining the Gunners permanently this summer, relegating the 25-year-old to the bench, the former Sheffield United man's time at the Emirates looks like it could be drawing to a close.

The report adds Schulte has been on Arsenal's radar since catching the eye with Columbus Crew after being selected in the MLS SuperDraft in 2022, before earning his first U.S. men's national team cap in January this year. Incidentally, Ramsdale has made just six Premier League appearances this season.
WHAT NEXT?
Arsenal, who beat FC Porto on penalties to reach the last eight of the Champions League on Tuesday night, are next in action on March 31 against Premier League title challengers Manchester City at the Etihad.
