Ange Postecoglou is back already?! Sacked Tottenham boss receives interest in swift return to management - but could decline offers for key reason

Clubs in England and around Europe have expressed their interest in signing Postecoglou as their new manager following his departure from Tottenham, according to The Sun. However, they add the Greek-Australian is currently enjoying his time off with his family and is not desperate to return too soon, though the right offer could entice him.

Postecoglou was given the boot by Daniel Levy after Tottenham finished 17th in the Premier League, though the former Celtic boss broke Spurs' trophy curse by claiming the Europa League, delivering on his famous second season quote from earlier in the season.

Tottenham have since turned their attention to recruiting a new head coach and are in negotiations with Brentford for Thomas Frank. The two clubs have reportedly agreed upon a £10m compensation fee, freeing the Dane to leave the Gtech Community Stadium and move across London.

Postecoglou won't be short of suitors this summer but whether he jumps into a new role remains to be seen. Spurs, meanwhile, will hope to wrap up the Frank appointment quickly and get to work in the transfer market, with the permanent arrival of Kevin Danso the only piece of business they've done so far.
