Andre Onana en route! Man Utd goalkeeper pictured on private jet straight after Tottenham draw as he begins crazy 23-hour turnaround for Cameroon’s AFCON opener

Just a few hours after the Red Devils' high-intensity 2-2 draw against Ange Postecoglou's Tottenham Hotspur, the under-fire goalkeeper posted a picture on a private jet on Snapchat. He committed himself to a crazy turnaround when he announced that he would be playing for the club against Spurs and then travel to the Ivory Coast for Cameroon's AFCON opener against Guinea which kicks off just 23 hours after the mentioned Premier League clash.

According to The Daily Mail, Onana will sit out the Group C match against Guinea in Yamoussoukro after spending seven hours in the air from Manchester. It is anticipated that his distant cousin Fabrice Ondoa, a player for Nimes in the French third tier, would start in goal for the game. In their group, Cameroon - coached by former West Ham and Liverpool star Rigobert Song - will play Guinea, Senegal, and Gambia in the group stage.

There are chances that Onana will not miss a single match for Erik Ten Hag's side if Camerron get knocked out of the group stages. They play their last group game against Gambia on January 23 while United do not play again till January 28 in the fourth round of the FA Cup. However, if Cameroon do make it to the final, Onana will likely miss four games for the Red Devils.

Onana will not be in action for Cameroon later on Wednesday when they take on Guinea at 5 pm GMT, however, he is very likely to start for his nation when they take on Senegal on January 19.
