    KITS CELEBRATE AFRICAN CULTURE

PUMA states Egypt's bold red one acknowledges the kings and queens the country is synonymous with, with pharaoh, sphinx, sand dune and pyramid-themed designs adoring both home and away kits.

For Ivory Coast, the iconic orange jerseys are inspired by annual festival ‘La Fête des Masques’ the festival at the heart of Ivorian folklore. The home kit has a fringe effect that is reminiscent of 'festival goers' and the away one symbolizes the dances performed at the festival.

The 2025 Africa Cup of Nations hosts, Morocco, has a dark red kit that features patterns inspired by traditional Moroccan zellige tiles, with intricate geometric designs symbolizing unity, eternity, and artisanship. The away kit has motifs representing protection, fertility, and harmony; while the inclusion of the indigenous language honours Morocco’s rich history.

  • BEHIND GHANA AND SENEGAL'S DESIGNS

For this new design, Ghana's white jersey appears to have a simple star print but as players begin to sweat, the symbols become more pronounced. The yellow away kit pays homage to the country's Gold Coast and represents the colours often found in Ghanaian culture and has the Adinkra symbols on the sleeves of the jersey.

Finally, Senegal's white home kit encompasses the theme of ‘Teranga’ – the spirit of hospitality. It also draws inspiration from the nation's workers and has a clean strip with accents in the colours of the national flag. The away kit, however, takes a bolder approach, with a green and lime palette that incorporates a lion print across the chest.
