Smith-Njigba is Something Special - Jaxon Smith-Njigba Over 79.5 Receiving Yards (-115)

Despite coming down with the flu, Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba had another big game last Sunday. Smith-Njigba had five receptions on six targets for 96 yards. He also scored his first touchdown of the season as the Seahawks beat the Saints 44-13.

He did it all through three quarters, as the Seahawks rested some of their key players in the fourth quarter. So, through three games, the 2023 first-round draft pick ranks second in the NFL with 323 receiving yards. 

Smith-Njigba and QB Sam Darnold have built quite the rapport over the last few weeks. When the Seahawks last met the Cardinals, Smith-Njigba also totaled 82 receiving yards. He’s in great form and should have another big game on Thursday Night Football.

Elite Defenses on Display - Under 43.5 Points (-110)

The Seattle Seahawks have the makings of an elite defense. Through three weeks of the 2025 NFL season, the Seahawks have only allowed 15.7 points per game. 

Plus, no team has scored more than 17 points against the Seahawks so far. In fact, the NFC West is full of good defenses, as the Cardinals have only allowed their opponents to score 17 points per game. 

Arizona’s offense hasn’t exactly clicked so far this season either. The Cardinals only put up 15 points on the board in a Week 3 loss to the 49ers and rank in the bottom half of the league in points per game. 

Both teams are also among the top three in terms of conceding the fewest opponent points per play. So, even though O/U 43.5 points may appear low, this has defensive slugfest written all over it. Go with the under.

Seahawks to Stifle Cardinals - Seahawks Alternate Spread: -3.5 (+150)

The Seahawks only managed to score 13 points in their season-opening loss to the San Francisco 49ers, but they’ve looked much better since then. Sam Darnold has led an offense that has scored 75 points combined over the last two games. 

While Arizona’s defense should be much better than the Steelers’ and Saints’, that doesn’t mean the Seahawks can’t go on the road and win here. Cardinals running back James Conner is out for the season, which weakens an offense that was already sputtering.

While the Seahawks rank ninth in the NFL in yards per play, the Cardinals rank 24th.  The Seahawks beat the Steelers by two touchdowns in Pittsburgh and are on a seven-game winning streak against the Cardinals. 

The Seahawks’ average margin of victory on that streak is 8.7 points per game. There’s value in betting on the Seahawks to win relatively comfortably today. Take their -3.5 alternate spread at +150 odds.
