In a potential Super Bowl preview, the Detroit Lions head to M&T Bank Stadium to face the Baltimore Ravens (-5.5) on Monday Night Football. The point total (O/U 52.5) is the highest of any NFL game this weekend, meaning a shootout could be in store.

Lions vs Ravens Picks
Jahmyr to Jumpstart MNF - Jahmyr Gibbs First TD Scorer (+650)
As expected, Lions RB Jahmyr Gibbs bounced back in Week 2 after a poor outing against the Packers. Gibbs ran for 94 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries in last weekend’s 52-21 win over the Bears. He also scored the first TD of the game, on a six-yard run.
Gibbs has now scored touchdowns in five of his last six regular season games. Sure, the Lions are road underdogs, but that doesn’t mean they can’t kick off the scoring tonight. There’s no likelier man to do that for Detroit than Gibbs.
He has scored the first touchdown of the game in three of the Lions’ last four games. Given he comes in at +650 odds to be the first TD scorer of tonight’s game, there’s too much value here to pass up on.
- Lions vs Ravens Pick 1: Jahmyr Gibbs First TD Scorer @ +650 with FanDuel
Jackson’s NFC Crusade Continues - Lamar Jackson Over 42.5 Rushing Yards (-114)
Lamar Jackson has long been one of the NFL’s premier quarterbacks. One of the reasons he’s had so much success against NFC teams in his career is his ability to keep the conference’s defenses, who only see him once every few years, on their toes by running the football.
Jackson is 24-2 against NFC teams as a starter, which is quite astounding. In five games against NFC teams in the 2024 season, Jackson averaged 64.6 rushing yards. Tonight, his over/under rushing yard total is at 42.5.
He went over that total in four of five games against NFC teams last season and has done so in five of his last seven games overall. Those are good enough reasons to take the over on his rushing yards tonight.
- Lions vs Ravens Pick 2: Lamar Jackson Over 42.5 Rushing Yards @ -114 with FanDuel
Monday Night Mayhem - Over 53.5 Points (-105)
The Baltimore Ravens have scored 40+ points in back-to-back weeks and have one of the NFL’s best offenses. They’re also prone to lapses on the other side of the ball, as they gave up 22 points in the fourth quarter of their 41-40 Week 1 loss to the Bills.
While the Lions only managed to put up 13 points against the Packers in Week 1, Jared Goff put on a show last weekend in the 52-21 win against the Bears. The Lions QB threw five touchdown passes, three of which were caught by Amon-Ra St. Brown.
Both offenses here are quite explosive, and that should translate to a shootout. The total has gone way over in both of the Ravens’ games so far this season. Meanwhile, the over is 6-2 in the Lions’ last eight games.
Sure, the total is quite high, at O/U 53.5. Still, this has the potential to be a 60+ point game, and you should bet the over.
- Lions vs Ravens Pick 3: Over 53.5 Points @ -105 with FanDuel
Lions vs Ravens Start Time
Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has lost just two of his 26 career games against NFC teams as a starter. That’s something to consider when the Detroit Lions head into town tonight.
