Falcons vs 49ers Picks

Niners Not Healthy - 49ers Under 23.5 Points (+100)

Injuries have been decimating the San Francisco 49ers this season. Starting quarterback Brock Purdy has only made two starts this season and is unlikely to take the field tonight as well. That means Mac Jones, who is also nursing an injury, could fill in once again.

Jones has thrown for 275+ yards in each of his four starts, but got picked off twice in last Sunday’s 30-19 loss to the Buccaneers. While TE George Kittle could come back this weekend, it looks like wide receivers Jauan Jennings, Ricky Pearsall, and Brandon Aiyuk will all be out.

Meanwhile, the Atlanta Falcons have had the NFL’s best passing defense this season. They’re holding opponents to just 139.4 passing yards per game and held the Bills’ Josh Allen to 157 in a gutsy 24-14 road win on Monday Night Football.

The 49ers have scored just 18.5 points per game at home this season, and I don’t think they’ll score 24+ tonight. Bet on the 49ers under 23.5 points at even odds. After all, Atlanta has held opponents to 20 points per game so far.

  • Falcons vs 49ers Prediction 1: 49ers Under 23.5 Points @ +100 with FanDuel

Points Limited by Pace - Under 46.5 Points (-104)

The San Francisco 49ers rank seventh in passing play percentage in the NFL. It looks like they’ll have to rely much more on Christian McCaffrey and their running game tonight, given how well the Falcons have defended the pass.

Meanwhile, Atlanta loves to run the football, and Bijan Robinson is one of the premier offensive players in the league. Both teams will look to win the time of possession battle in what should be a slow-paced game.

The under is 4-1 in Falcons games in 2025, and they’ve only given up 30 points once so far this season. While the 49ers will be missing LB Fred Warner, they still have a good enough defense to keep this one close and low-scoring.

Go with under 46.5 points (-104).

  • Falcons vs 49ers Prediction 2: Under 46.5 Points @ -104 with FanDuel

Falcons For Real - Falcons ML (+108)

Since an embarrassing 30-0 Week 3 loss to the Carolina Panthers, the Atlanta Falcons have completely woken up. Running back Bijan Robinson has averaged over 120 rushing yards in the last two games as the Falcons have taken down the Commanders and Bills.

Both of those teams made conference championship games last season, so it’s time we start treating the Falcons with respect. They have the league’s most dominant passing defense to this point and a +0.6 turnover margin per game.

Atalanta’s also been the most disciplined team in the league, with just 5.4 penalties per game. If QB Michael Penix Jr. does the basics and Atlanta takes care of the ball, the Falcons should improve to 3-0 in primetime games this season.

The 49ers have far too many injuries to trust them, and Bijan Robinson is capable of a few huge plays for the Falcons. Take Atlanta’s moneyline.
