Cowboys vs Broncos Predictions, Picks & Odds: NFL Week 8 - 10/26

If the Denver Broncos (-3.5) can take down the Dallas Cowboys today, it’ll mark their fifth straight win. Denver’s had some close calls lately, though, and it could be a challenge to slow down the explosive Cowboys (+144) offense.

Cowboys vs Broncos Predictions - 4:25pm EDT - 10/26

  • J.K. Dobbins Over 72.5 Rushing Yards @ -114
  • Dak Prescott Over 251.5 Passing Yards @ -114
  • Cowboys ML @ +146

Cowboys vs Broncos Odds

  • Spread: Broncos -3.5 (-105)
  • Moneyline: Cowboys (+144), Broncos (-172)
  • Total: 50.5 (O: -118, U:-104)

Cowboys vs Broncos Picks

Do-it Again Dobbins - J.K. Dobbins Over 72.5 Rushing Yards (-114)

Broncos lead running back J.K. Dobbins has been having a fine first season in Denver. The former Ravens and Chargers RB is averaging 74.7 rushing yards per game on five yards per carry. Today, he’s going up against a weak Dallas defense and could be in line for a big day.

The Cowboys have allowed 141.3 rushing yards per game, more than all but two teams. Panthers running back Rico Dowdle exploded for 183 rushing yards against the Cowboys two weeks ago alone.

Dallas also ranks 26th in opponent yards per carry (4.7). Today, Dobbins’ O/U rushing yard total is 72.5. He’s gone over that total in five of his seven games this season and picked up 81 yards last Sunday against the Giants on 14 carries. Take Dobbins over 72.5 yards (-114).

  • Cowboys vs Broncos Prediction 1: J.K. Dobbins Over 72.5 Rushing Yards @ -114

Prescott Passing with Precision - Dak Prescott Over 251.5 Passing Yards (-114)

Only the San Francisco 49ers have averaged more passing yards per game (271.3) than the Dallas Cowboys (268.4). Dallas QB Dak Prescott has stayed healthy so far this season and has picked up 1,881 passing yards on a career-best 71.4 completion percentage.

The Cowboys are passing the ball on over 60 percent of their plays, and it’s working, as they’re scoring 31.7 points per game. Prescott has thrown for 260+ yards in each of his last two games, in which he’s thrown six TD passes and no interceptions.

Prescott is playing at an MVP level, and the Broncos have allowed 280 passing yards or more in four of their last six games. Bet on Prescott over 251.5 passing yards tonight, at -114.

  • Cowboys vs Broncos Prediction 2: Dak Prescott Over 251.5 Passing Yards @ -114

Cowboys to Cause Chaos - Cowboys ML (+144)

Apart from their 33-point fourth-quarter outburst in last Sunday’s 33-32 win against the Giants after they trailed 19-0, the Denver Broncos have been anything but impressive in their last two games.

The Broncos beat the two New York teams, who are a combined 2-10 in their other games this season, by three points combined. I don’t expect the Cowboys, who beat the Commanders by 22 points in Week 7, to fold the way the Giants did last Sunday.

Dallas has been excellent on offense lately, averaging 37 points per game over its last four. The Broncos do rank first in the NFL in sacks and pressure rate. If the Cowboys’ offensive line, which has only allowed 1.1 sacks per game, holds up, the Cowboys can pull off the upset.

Go with the Cowboys’ moneyline (+144).

  • Cowboys vs Broncos Prediction 3: Cowboys ML @ +144

Cowboys vs Broncos Start Time

  • Start Time: 4:25pm EDT
  • Location: Empower Field at Mile High
  • Address: 1701 Bryant St, Denver, CO 80204
  • TV & Streaming: CBS, Fubo, Paramount+, Hulu, YouTube TV, NFL+

The Broncos (5-2) needed a huge fourth-quarter comeback to take down the Giants last Sunday and grab a third straight win. Their luck could run out against Dak Prescott and the Cowboys (3-3-1), who are averaging the second-most points per game in the NFL.
