Swede has revealed serious health issue
Regrets never having chance to manage Reds
Could take to the dugout for meeting with Ajax
WHAT HAPPENED?
The Swede has revealed that, at the age of 75, he may have less than a year to live following a terminal cancer diagnosis. He has said: “Everyone understands that I have an illness that is not good. Everyone guesses it's cancer, and it is. But I have to fight as long as I can.”
Eriksson has told Good Morning Britain when asked about that potential opening: “I didn’t know that, I knew that they have a charity game in March I think it is and my son… I’m invited to see that game and that would be great because there will be a lot of great footballers there but I should be their manager? No, I’ve never heard that.”

Quizzed on whether he would accept any offer from Liverpool, Eriksson added: “I would accept of course! That’s always been my dream but like a dream, I’m not complaining, I’ve had a lot of good football teams - national teams and the clubs so I’m happy.”
