The 2023/24 season's title race went down to the wire as the West London side ended the campaign tied on points (55) with Manchester City but won the trophy due to a better goal difference. Speaking on her final triumph with the Blues, outgoing boss Hayes claimed that she considers the current win as the most difficult one out of the seven league titles she won at Stamford Bridge.
WHAT EMMA HAYES SAID
In a post-game interview with Sky Sports, the 47-year-old coach said, "I can't say it's my most enjoyable but it's definitely been the toughest without doubt and for that reason probably the sweetest. I'm just so relieved it's over."
