The Houston Dynamo have signed&nbsp;Aljaž “Kiki” Struna from Palermo, the club announced on Monday. Struna, who has earned 12 caps for Slovenia,joined Palermo in 2012 and was a part of the team's Serie B title win in 2013-14 as well as Carpi's Serie B triumph on loan once year later. “We are excited to bring a player like Aljaž Struna, who has experience playing in Europe and is in the prime of his career, to our team. He is a top defender, not only in Italy, but for his Slovenian national team, and we believe he will bring leadership on and off the field,” said Dynamo Head Coach&nbsp;Wilmer Cabrera.&nbsp; “He wants to win with the Houston Dynamo and he has accepted the challenge to play in MLS over other possibilities, and that shows his commitment to this league and to our club.”

Manchester United's interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will speak with Sir Alex Ferguson at regular intervals during his spell in charge, according to <a href="https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/8052368/man-utd-alex-ferguson-consultant-solskjaer/">The Sun</a>. After Jose Mourinho was sacked, Ferguson played a role in Solskjaer and Mike Phelan being installed at the helm. Ferguson will not be employed by the club but will lend advice to the management pair for at least the rest of the season.
