Real Madrid have given up trying to bring Juventus' Paulo Dybala to the club, according to Calciomercato.

The Serie A champions want at least €120 million [£106m/$136m] for the Argentina international, with Manchester United also a noted admirer.

Relegation clause delaying Newcastle sale

Gattuso does not rule out Ibrahimovic to Milan

Gennaro Gattuso refused to rule out a move for Zlatan Ibrahimovic after seeing his side scrape a 1-1 draw at Lazio but said his focus is on improving his fifth-placed team's performances.

Reports in recent weeks have linked the Swedish striker with a move back to San Siro after an excellent debut season with the LA Galaxy in MLS.

Gattuso did not dismiss the talk when asked if he were interested in bringing the striker to the club, but also noted the focus must be on the current squad he has at his disposal.

Boca vs River shambles explained

The Copa Libertadores has descended into chaos after the second leg of the final was postposed for a second time in as many days.

River Plate fans attacked the bus containing the Boca Juniors squad prior to the deciding tie, with players left injured and traumatised after bottles and bricks were thrown at the vehicle.

Despite the game before postponed by 24 hours, the Boca team were unable to fulfil the fixture due to the viscousness of the attack the previous day.

No date has been set for the return game, with uncertainty growing over whether it will even be staged.

Saints to keep faith with Hughes

Eden Hazard's long-term future at Chelsea remains deeply uncertain after the Belgian talked up leaving the club in 2019.

Real Madrid have been heavily linked with Hazard, while PSG also represent a possible destination.

But Hazard has no plans to return to France - he was previously at Lille - but could yet leave next summer.

Wolves want Balde on loan

Wolves are interested in signing Monaco winger Keita Balde on loan in January, claims the Birmingham Mail.

The 23-year-old is currently on a season-long loan at Inter Milan but has made only four starts in the league so far, and reports suggest the deal could be canceled when the transfer window re-opens.

West Ham are apparently interested in signing Balde as well and will compete for his signature.

Higuain to return to Juve

AC Milan may not take up their option of making Gonzalo Higuain a permenant signing for €36 million, Corriere dello Sport are reporting.

Higuain has scored five times in 10 Serie A appearacnces so far this term, but budget restrictions are apparently blocking the Italian side from securing his signature.

It is understood there would still be interest if Milan can agree a lower price with his parent club Juventus.

Chelsea set to cash in on Hazard

Chelsea are prepared to let Eden Hazard leave, according to OK Diario.

The Belgian has long been linked with a move to Real Madrid and Chelsea are now thought to want to cash in on the 27-year-old.

Inter plot Pogba bid

Inter Milan are planning a bid for Manchester United's Paul Pogba, reports Tutosport.

Juventus have been heavily linked with a move for the French midfielder but their former CEO, Guiseppe Marotta, wants to hijack the deal and bring Pogba to his new club.

United's long-term target Ivan Perisic and defender Milan Skriniar would be offered as swap for 25-year-old Pogba according to the Mirror.

Warnock eyes Cardiff buys after Everton loss

Cardiff City manager Neil Warnock says that his side’s latest defeat to Everton is a stark reaffirmation that they must strengthen in the January transfer window, according to Wales Online.

The Bluebirds have failed to adapt to life in the Premier League following promotion last season and fell 1-0 to the Toffees on Saturday.

Warnock has now issued a warning that the club must bring in strong recruits if they are to survive in the top-flight past next May.

The 21-year-old only signed for the Bees in June from Charlton but has caught the eye of the Gunners so far this season.
