  • WHAT HAPPENED?

Mac Allister was tasked with ranking his toughest opponents on Sky Sports' Saturday Social. The Argentinian plumped for his ex-Brighton teammate, but was clear that Rodri was the better player of three. His decision to rank Caicedo highest was for the Ecuadorian's immense physical attributes, that Mac Allister says marked him out as a special talent at a young age.

  • WHAT ALEXIS MAC ALLISTER SAID

Mac Allister said: "I shared a dressing room with Moi, he was a fantastic player, so good physically.

"Physically is the hardest part. On and off the ball he is so good, he's so complete."

On putting Rodri third on the list: "This doesn't mean that I don't rate Rodri! It's the complete opposite. He earned the Ballon D'or, he's a fantastic player. He's not the hardest opponent, because he's never on the ball. He always plays one or two touches, and you cannot even get near him. I put it like this because of the physical attributes."
