WHAT HAPPENED?
Hojlund has fallen way down the pecking order at Manchester United under Ruben Amorim following the Red Devils' summer spending spree on attacking options. With Benjamin Sesko, Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo all options to play centrally with Joshua Zirkzee to cover, the Danish striker was told to leave the club; however, Hojlund was eager to fight for his spot and was not keen on leaving the 20-time English league champions after just one year.
