Getty ImagesWhat PSG's Campos said about Donnarumma
He told RMC: "The club is more important than anyone else. That's changed at PSG. Donnarumma, it's a combination of circumstances that led to this decision. When he asks for a salary at the level of PSG before, not the current PSG. Our policy is very much linked to merit: you earn more when you deserve it, and when you play. We took time to discuss the Gigio issue. We were obliged to find solutions if we couldn't reach an agreement with him."
Getty Images SportWhat next for Donnarumma?
The 26-year-old has made a bright start to life at City, beginning with their 3-0 win over Manchester United at the weekend. Now, the ex-AC Milan star can look forward to their Champions League clash at home to Napoli on Thursday.
