The Red Devils are looking to add fresh blood to their backline amid uncertainties over the future of Raphael Varane, Harry Maguire and Jonny Evans. Nice centre-back, Todibo, is a long-term target of the club and according toFabrizio Romano, the Ligue 1 outfit could demand £40m ($50m) for their star defender. With Nice being owned by Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Ineos, who are United's minority stakeholders, the English giants could have leeway in negotiations.
THE BIGGER PICTURE
Juventus have also put a price on Bremer as the Bianconeri might demand €60m (£51m/$65m) to €70m (£60m/$76m), according to La Gazzetta dello Sport. The Brazilian defender also has a release clause in his contract of nearly the same figure which could potentially be activated from the summer of 2025. Fabrizio Romanoalso reports that there is "a verbal pact" between the player and Juventus that the club would "consider" any bid in the same region in 2024 as well - but the discretion to let him leave rest solely on the Serie A outfit.
