Leeds' offer to Raul may seem surprising given Farke’s recent success, but the move could be viewed as a forward-looking contingency by the Leeds hierarchy should the transition back to top-flight football prove rocky. However, his coaching experience is largely limited to Castilla and youth-level tournaments such as the UEFA Youth League, which he won in 2020.
AFPWHAT NEXT?
Raul's appointment at Leeds would mark a significant step into senior football management and bring global attention to Elland Road. However, it will be a tough call to remove Farke from the hot seat, especially after guiding the team to the English top flight.
