Bellingham’s influence at Santiago Bernabeu has waned slightly, while Palmer inspired Chelsea to Conference League and FIFA Club World Cup glory in 2024-25. The 23-year-old playmaker is considered to form part of the global elite.
AFPWHAT WADDLE SAID
Ex-England international Chris Waddle has told Flashscore, who provide the best betting sites: "I think if Cole Palmer was available, you’d have to break the bank to get him. Lamine Yamal is in that same category. I think Palmer would go for more than Jude Bellingham.
"In the modern game players go for over £100 million and at the minute you’d have to say about £150 million, Palmer is around that category. The money has gone daft, in my day you’d pay £1 million for a player, it’s just gone ridiculous. At the moment, Palmer and Yamal would be worth over £100 million."
