    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Grealish has made an impressive start to life on Merseyside, with four assists being recorded as Everton picked up two victories through their opening three games of the 2025-26 campaign.

  • DID YOU KNOW?

Grealish has been selected as the standout performer in the month of August, with competition for the POTM prize from Riccardo Calafiori, Hugo Ekitike, Marc Guehi, Erling Haaland, Joao Pedro, Antoine Semenyo and Dominik Szoboszlai being fended off.

  • WHAT GREALISH SAID

It has been quite the week for Grealish, who celebrated turning 30 on September 10. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall presented him with his award, saying: "Well deserved, Premier League Player of the Month." Grealish said of landing that gong: "First one. I thought you were winding me up!"

  • WHAT NEXT?

Grealish will be hoping that lofty individual standards can be maintained in what is a World Cup year. He has failed to make Thomas Tuchel’s selections of late, but should force his way back into contention if continuing to catch the eye for the Toffees - with David Moyes’ side readying themselves for a return to action against Grealish’s former side Aston Villa on Saturday.
