The 31-year-old will join the Ligue 1 side at the end of this season, when his deal in Bavaria officially comes to an end. It is understood that Dier's deal with Les Monegasques will run until June 2027, but there is an option to extend.

Dier joined Bayern on loan in January 2024, before permanently signing with the club in March of that year for a reported fee of £3m. The ex-Spurs man has been a regular contributor under both Thomas Tuchel and Vincent Kompany, providing cover at centre-back.
