According to Tom Bogert of The Athletic, the 32-year-old has been offered to MLS teams - with his current deal expiring later this year. Bogert adds that while a move to the league where Lionel Messi is tearing it up at Inter Miami is on the cards, Atlanta will not be making a move for Oscar.

  • THE BIGGER PICTURE

Oscar, arguably, made a name for himself when he joined Chelsea from Internacional in 2012. The attacking midfielder played 203 times for the Blues, scoring 38 goals along the way. In his spell with the west London outfit, he won two Premier Leagues, one Carabao Cup, and one Europa League - before moving to the Chinese Super League in 2017. Incidentally, many big names have joined Messi in the MLS and Oscar would add to that illustrious list if he followed suit.
